Dear Customers, Partners and Users
Our “SDS Provisioning Admin” tool gives DRACOON OEM partners a Windows-based application for managing online accounts.
It also provides a comprehensive reporting tool for compiling expense reporting.
- .NET Framework 4.5
- PowerShell 2.0
Entry in the "authorized_services" Table
In the “mandant” database, a corresponding entry for the client ID to be administrated must be available in the “authorized_services” table.
- id: consecutive number, autoincrement
- mandant_id: the ID under which the client to be managed is maintained, which is usually “1”
- token: a random value that constitutes the password required for administration in the future; it should be as complex and long as possible
- service_name: Free text field for a description, for example, of the URL of the client that you want to administrate
Using the Tool
When you start the tool for the first time, you must configure a connection to the DRACOON solution that you want to administrate.
You can configure the following settings here:
- DRACOON URL: enter the URL of the DRACOON solution that you want to administrate
- Service Token: enter the password specified under “2.1 Entry in the “authorized_services” table”
- Save connection settings: Set the checkmark if you want to permanently save the connection details
Once you click “OK”, the connection to the corresponding Secure Data Space is saved.
You can configure any number of connections.
Info: you can change the entered or saved connection details at any time by going to the “Settings” menu item.
Reading out Online Accounts
Click the “Refresh” button to read out all the online accounts configured under the selected URL.
On this screen, you can sort all the columns simply by clicking the column headers. In addition, a filter for the various account types “pay”, “demo” and “free” and a search field that simplifies administration are provided.
If you use the “Search User” function to find a hit, the online account under which the user is created is selected in the list.
Please note that the exact user name must be entered.
Creating Online Accounts
When you click the “Add Customer” button, the following window opens:
Here, you can edit the customer number, the booked user licences and the maximum quota for the online account.
You can also click the “Show Users” button to display a list of the users created for this customer and use a search field to search through them.
Locking and Unlocking Online Accounts
When you select one or more lines in the list of available online accounts, the “Lock Customer” menu item is then displayed in the action menu.
After you confirm the security prompt, the online account is locked or unlocked.
Note: You can select and then lock up to 20 accounts simultaneously.
Deleting Online Accounts
When you select one or more lines in the list of available online accounts, the “Delete Customer” menu item is then displayed in the action menu.
After you confirm the security prompt, the online account is irrevocably deleted.
Note: You can select and then delete up to 20 accounts simultaneously.
Export and Reporting
You can export the list of available online accounts that is currently displayed at any time by clicking the “Export to CSV” menu item.
When you do so, the current view after all the filters specified here are applied is always exported.
From the submenu in the button, you can use the “Export report for all connections to CSV” menu item to create a report for all the entered connections.
